Our unique premises offers unprecedented access to outdoor education and experiential learning. We believe that in a world rapidly consumed by the digital, the natural is the perfect place to raise a generation of leaders who think differently. At Orange Grove Farm, Outdoor Education is as much a part of our curriculum as academics. The benefits are endless, and the results we see in our alumni are self evident.
APIARY
Since 2019, Orange Grove has been home to its very own honey bees. In fact, many of the native aloe plants can only be pollinated by bees. From hands on experience for our young people, to investing in the future of the environment, this program is the sweetest addition to life on the farm.
FRESH PRODUCE
Our hostel is fed from our fresh, farm grown produce, and all students have the opportunity to dig their hands into our organic soil, and experience life developing from seed to table.
FREE RANGE POULTRY
There is a lot to be learned by spending time outside amongst the simplicity of animal life. So much of our life is built around what these animals can provide for us, that we have forgotten the simple joy of having them around. Our ground birds contribute daily to outdoor education.
