iThemba Trust was founded with a dream to uplift the community of Tarkastad and the surrounding areas in the rural poverty-stricken Eastern Cape of South Africa. iThemba Trust breathes hope into young lives by providing them with an education of excellence surrounded by the simplicity and beauty of a healthy country lifestyle. iThemba Trust was founded in 2008 by Kitty Phillips as the founder and Angela Price as the co-founder. The trust was founded to be a custodian of the vision Kitty Phillips had in 2002.

iThemba Trust is a 501(c)3 organisation established under the Jernigan Foundation in the USA. The trust is also a registered Non Profit Organisation 065-781-NPO, as well as a Public Beneficiary Organisation 930031826 (PBO) in South Africa. Officially since 2009, iThemba has functioned as the umbrella covering and resource pool for everything that takes place on Orange Grove Farm.

Orange Grove Farm is where we are. You can find us just outside of Tarkastad, in rural South Africa. This is where everything happens – it is the place God has given us, and it is where we are watching His heart being unearthed before us. Come and see!
